The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

The shower drain was slow and they didn't have a back-up power sources for loadshedding (but they did provide battery lamps).

A pleasant stay

What a surprise. The hotel is modern and beautiful with all required facilities. e.g. USB charging port, towel heating rack, slippers and gown. Everything and everywhere is clean and comfy. Breakfast is not too many but you can order from the kitchen. Staff is very friendly and helpful, location is perfect and close to the waterfront. Overall you can hardly find anything that you don't like and my family were quite happy there. Will definitely come back again.

This estate is surrounded by nature and is so peaceful and relaxing! The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly! Breakfast simply delicious!

Beautiful hotel, 2 pools with cosy lounge area and garden,...

Beautiful hotel, 2 pools with cosy lounge area and garden, very nice room with a great bed and awesome bathroom (loved the shower), espressomachine in room, complimentary products from L'occitane, bathrobe and slippers provided, ... The breakfast looked great, too bad we were in such a hurry, the warm menu looked delicious! Wish we could have stayed longer :)

When we came back from dinner at night (same day as check-in), housekeeping already went into our room? Our bed was folded open, our pillows were on the floor, curtains opened (you could see everything) and all the lights in the room and bathroom were left on, even the tv was playing... But the dirty glasses were left behind? It was quite a shock to us and rather strange that energy was wasted this way...

Awesome. Staff and room was perfect. They really helped us. Room and bed were really big and the couch comfortable enough for children.

Everything else was great, new look, decor, food, restaurant...

Everything else was great, new look, decor, food, restaurant, staff really great. Just if you going to be family friendly one need to concentrate a bit more on the safety. There were alot of families with Toddlers there and there is a lot of glass, and things that could go wrong (especially for dinner its a bit difficult, we had to stay and eat in our rooms)

The property was divine but our main concern was that It wasn't very child appropriate, pools are not enclosed or secured and the family rooms don't have saftey plugs in and that sort of thing. Our Toddler has his finer in the plug before we knew it.. So you constantly have to worry and can't really relax. But that's just of you want to be in the family market, but it really is amazing. We definitely coming back just minus a toddler

A lovely hotel in a brilliant location, wonderful for kids and excellent staff.

Warmly greeted by the staff on arrival with a glass of bubbly.

A few minor problems with the room such as no shower gel in the dispenser and a bed side light bulb not working.

We had a great stay at the Knysna Hollow - super location, settings and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed walking around the gardens and also the great food at the restaurant. The staff were excellent and helpful too. Highly recommended!

The wireless internet was patchy in our room.
